Gratuity Calculator

Gratuity in the UAE is an end-of-service benefit paid to employees who complete at least one year of continuous service.

It is calculated only on the basic salary, excluding allowances. For the first five years of service, gratuity is paid at 21 days of basic salary per year, and for any additional years, it is paid at 30 days per year.

The total gratuity cannot exceed the equivalent of two years’ basic salary and is calculated based on the employee’s last drawn basic salary.
